Waai Project
The Ministry of soldirty of Egypt Awareness campaigns، aim to raise community awareness on critical social and health issues through educational programs and outreach efforts. The initiatives cover topics such as positive parenting, maternal and child health, and combating child labor. By collaborating with various stakeholders, Waai strives to promote positive behaviors and enhance the overall well-being of society.
Sameh Samir collaborated with the Ministry and donor institutions like the European Union ILO and UNDP to produce visual content, including cartoons, books, animated films, and various publications, to support these efforts.

The Waai Campaign, overseen by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, features a logo designed for simplicity and readability, aimed at effectively communicating with the target audience, particularly those in need of social awareness. The design of the logo ensures it is easily understood by everyone, using approachable visuals that resonate with the campaign's message. The chosen colors are intentionally vibrant and attention-grabbing, making the logo both memorable and impactful for spreading social awareness.

At President Sisi’s conference, Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Egypt's Minister of Social Solidarity, delivered a speech highlighting an awareness campaign addressing critical societal issues like female circumcision, early marriage, and child labor. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the impact of these issues on society. Dr. Al-Kabbaj discussed the campaign’s detailed items, ideas, and events, showcasing real-life examples and images. The initiatives, which I have had the honor to be involved in, have been well-received, earning widespread admiration, including from President Sisi himself.
