Family Planning

Family planning is an important topic for achieving social and health balance in the community. The "Waai" program focuses on educating families about the importance of family planning to achieve a healthy and stable life. Efforts include providing information on safe and available family planning methods, offering medical consultations to couples, and organizing awareness campaigns on the importance of spacing births for better maternal and child health. The Ministry of Social Solidarity, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and civil society organizations, provides necessary support to families to plan their families according to their health and economic capabilities, contributing to improving quality of life and achieving sustainable development. Cartoonists Sameh Samir & Amr Al Sawy collaborated with the Ministry and donor institutions like the European Union and UNDP to produce visual content, including cartoons, books, animated films, and various publications, to support these efforts.
